HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich

With 2,000 students and around 600 lecturers from the field, the HWZ is Switzerland's largest university with exclusively part-time degree programmes in the field of business. It is part of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZFH). The rector is Prof. Matthias Rüegg.

In the spirit of "Careerlong Learning", it offers a wide range of courses suitable for every career stage. The HWZ was founded in 1986 as a part-time HWV Zurich by the Commercial Association and the Juventus Schools Foundation Zurich. The HWZ is located in the trendy Europaallee district, right next to the main train station, in the modern "Sihlhof".

In 2016, the HWZ became the first higher education institution in Switzerland to be institutionally accredited under the new HFKG.
