Swiss Digital Days are an annual event that fosters dialogue around digitalization. Swiss Digital Days program offers hundreds of online and physical events focused on key digital topics. Digitalization is changing all areas of society: education, healthcare, politics, business, work, leisure, mobility, and communication. Swiss Digital Days showcase the developments, opportunities, and risks of digitalization. Swiss Digital Days invite the Swiss population to learn, question, and discover how rapid digital change continues to shape the world we live in.
Swiss Digital Days 2022 begin on 5 September. For 7 weeks, from 5 September to 23 October 2022, digitalswitzerland co-hosts and co-presents, together with national and local partners, a series of local Digital Days across 7 regions of Switzerland. Swiss Digital Days will visit your region with portable bubbles where you can explore digitalization, enter a dialogue, ask questions, and much much more.

- 5 - 9 September: Greater Bern Area
- 12 - 18 September: Northwestern Switzerland
- 19 - 25 September: Greater Zurich Area
- 26 September - 2 October: Romandie
- 3 - 9 October: Ticino
- 10 - 16 October: Eastern Switzerland
- 17 - 23 October: Central Switzerland
The mission of Swiss Digital Days 2022 is to take the entire Swiss population on a journey to learn and embrace our digital world. Our portable bubbles traveling across Switzerland bring the population together to create the digital future.
Swiss Digital Days’ mission is to cover topics such as sustainability, education, data security, artificial intelligence, e-government, e-services, smart infrastructure, health, entrepreneurship, and many more.
People with all levels of digital knowledge can take part in Swiss Digital Days. You can explore our full program of events here. You can filter topics that you would like to learn more about or ones you are already very interested in. From deepfakes to sustainability or how to use digital tools like booking train tickets or creating reels on Instagram - we have something for everyone.
digitalswitzerland coordinates and organizes the Swiss Digital Days 2022 together with its partners. Kristof Hertig is the Project Lead of Swiss Digital Days. This Swiss-wide event is supported by a large community of partners from academia and the private and public sectors. The main sponsors are APG|SGA, Google, Ringier.
Everyone! We extend the invitation to join Swiss Digital Days to anyone interested in digitalisation. We want as many people as possible to join our varied programme of physical and virtual events. This includes our portable Swiss Digital Days bubbles, online and offline events. Or why not pass by to watch our GreenTech Startup Battle in your region or participate in herHACK – a female led hackathon? No prior knowledge is needed to take part in Swiss Digital Days.
Swiss Digital Days opening event will take place on 5 September. The physical program, consisting of the Swiss Digital Days bubbles and a robotic exhibition will kick off at 11:00 at Bern Bundesplatz and will conclude at 19:00.
Since digitalisation is such a multifaceted topic, we will use the 7 weeks starting from the 5 September - 23 October, leading up to Swiss Digital Days closing event in Zug on 27 October. This 7-week period will foster nationwide discourse around digital topics, focusing on three main topics: sustainability, women in technology and future skills.
For external communication, digitalswitzerland will communicate to the public in four languages: German, French, Italian, and English. We also communicate in these four languages on our website.

You do not need to buy tickets to attend Digital Days 2022. All events are free of charge. There is however a wide range of events happening during the seven-week period and also on Digital Days' opening and closing event on 5 September and 27 October. We encourage you to visit the official Digital Days website where you may need to register or book attendance at certain events where numbers may be restricted.

You can get involved with a number of both physical and digital events during 7 weeks in 7 regions. You can join live and virtual events created by several cities and cantons across Switzerland.
The goal of Swiss Digital Days is to mobilise the Swiss population to engage with the opportunities and challenges that digitalization offers. Swiss Digital Days make it possible to experience digitalization in all its facets through events and activities that focus on education and debate on digital topics. All activities during Swiss Digital Days serve this purpose: experience, discover, discuss and learn.
We need Swiss Digital Days to understand and embrace the opportunities that the digital future offers Switzerland and the world.
